Our experienced teams are qualified on a wide range of cable types (PILC, XLPE, Fluid Filled), components, voltages & fibre optic systems – certified to work on DNO, National Grid, as well as on & offshore sites.

Terminations & Testing
We are the UK’s only company to haH&Askham provide power & fibre optic T&T services for a range of applications, most notably Offshore Wind Farms, we work on both export & array cable systems. We have been instrumental in developing a stream lined solution for combing cable pull-in and T&T works as a tailored solution, resulting in huge cost & time efficiencies for our clients.

HV & Fibre Optic Testing
H&Askham provide high voltage electrical & fibre optic testing services using a wide range of techniques. Our teams work on construction & commissioning, in-service systems, operations & maintenance, as well as fault location & diagnosis. The specialist services we provide include HV resonant testing, partial discharge & fibre optic continuous monitoring.

Substation Construction & Civils
H&Askham are leaders in high quality & efficient substation construction - we work on major projects in the power & energy sectors. Our services include civil engineering & construction, from foundations to fully commissioned substations. We are currently working with Linxon to deliver the Hinkley Point C Connection Project, a 400kV substation build for National Grid.

Cable Pull-In & Installation
We are specialists in onshore, offshore, shore end, export array & internal platform cable installation & fibre optic systems. We also carry out the installation of messenger wires & cable management systems. Onshore we can undertake all civils for cable installation projects & the development of specialist methodologies for pulling cables into confined spaces.

Operations & Maintenance
Through our expert engineering, H&Askham deliver cable condition monitoring, fault location detection, diagnostics & repair, through to maintenance of high voltage, fibre optic & auxiliary equipment. We are equipped to support our clients with unscheduled maintenance, offering provision of 24/7 emergency response – mitigating risk to our clients & their assets.
